The Z5 was announced by iQOO last month, and the iQOO Z5x was announced today. The iQOO Z5x features a 6.58-inch FullHD+ 120Hz LCD with a water drop notch for the 8-megapixel front-facing camera. A 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro unit are located on the back of the phone.
The iQOO Z5x is powered by the Dimensity 900 SoC, which offers up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone ships with the Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0 operating system and includes the virtual RAM function, which allows you to increase RAM by up to 1.5GB on the 6GB RAM model and up to 4GB on the 8GB RAM model.
For long-term performance, the iQOO Z5x boasts a five-layer liquid cooling system inside, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and 5G connection. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader for biometric verification and a 5,000mAh battery that can draw up to 44W of power via a USB-C connector. The included 44W adaptor, according to iQOO, can charge the cell from zero to 58 percent in 30 minutes.
The iQOO Z5x is available in three colours and three memory configurations: 6GB/128GB, 8GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB, with prices ranging from CNY1,599 ($250/€215) to CNY1,699 ($265/€230) to CNY1,899 ($300/€255). It will be available for pre-order on vivo’s official website and online merchants such as JD.com and Suning.com later today in China.
